Someone sent me this clip and it is hypnotically annoying.  I’m warning you now that if you watch it, you’ll find yourself reciting this line at the most inopportune times (as I found myself strolling through Ikea singing this to myself tonight).  So, that’s the disclaimer… Watch it if you must.

So, while the Bush Administration was asking for $700billion for the bank bailout, they slipped in this line…

“Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency.”

Aiight, so not only are we giving Hank Paulson over half a trillion in discretionary funds, he could shoot the whole wad on blow and strippers and no one could say shit to him about it?  Wow.  Say what you want to say about the Bush Administration, but always remember to say that they’re some true gangsters.
