Vexedinthecity’s Weblog

My name is Corey Richardson, and I’m angry…

I take my ancestors’ rage, commit it to a page.  The mind of a street nigga, the pen of a sage.

The written content all comes from my head and I hope you like what you see… if you do, please feel free to pass it along to others and leave a comment.  If you don’t, that’s fine too… just leave a note and pass it along to others.

For those that don’t know me, my name is Corey Richardson and I do my writing from Austin, Texas.  Having been born in Africa, grown up in Virginia, gone to school in Georgia, and spent the last 7 years in Chicago, I don’t have much of a “home” as much as places I can say I’ve lived that were pretty cool and provided me with a varying background and outlook on life.  I’m not a liberal or a conservative.  I’m a pragmatist who just so happens to be pragmatically black, so my view is different in that, I understand the real affects of what goes on day to day and I’m not afraid to talk about it.

I hope you dig it and pass it on to others.

Can’t find your email address anywhere, but…

I’ve checked your blog out, and I would like to talk to you about contributing to a new website, FreshXpress. We launched January 21, 2009. We’re trying to make it THE Voice of Young Black America, so we’re trying to get people writing and debating all over the country. Check us out: http://thefreshxpress.com/. We’re trying to keep our content relevant, fresh, and interesting. We’d love to have you on board. We could possibly take an article or content from you weekly, and it would give us some great content, and it will direct some of our readers to your site. Let me know what you think.
